Senior Director - Determined by seniority current consecutive years as a director.

2. Announce election date, then give teachers one week to file as a candidate in writing.
3. After the filing date, post the names of all candidates on the JCEA bulletin board.  All candidates run as individuals.
JCEA Constitution Article VI Section 3

4. Voting should be held during the school day.
5. All elections must be by secret ballot.  The official ballot should list all candidates.  No write-in candidates or absentee ballots are permitted.  Voters should place a check mark in the box next to the candidate(s) of their choice.
6. No election may be cancelled because of the absence of a candidate.
7. The election supervisor and his/her staff will conduct the counting of votes.  Candidates may be included for tally.
8. The Senior Director must notify the JCEA of the outcome of the election.  Record the name, address and home phone of the newly elected directors.
